The Name of The Lord is to be Praised

What an amazing and tiring week we’ve had! As most of you know we held a huge celebration day last Saturday the 19th. The days leading up to the day were ridiculously hectic, we worked most days without breaks well into the evening. The hard work and effort was all worth it though as we had such an amazing day. More than 350 people came to celebrate what God has done at the village. Everyone was so amazing at how fantastic the village and all the children are looking. There was a jam packed program including some fantastic worship, dancing from the children, a truly amazing self penned poem by Robbie and even I let my voice loose for a change and sang a solo. After the main event was over we had a huge Braai (BBQ) and there was a huge 5 metre water slide which the kids absolutely loved. At the end of the day I couldn’t resist going down the slide fully clothed! Ah it was so much fun! The whole day was a huge success in showing people exactly what God has done in the last 6 years. It also served to raise awareness about the huge problem this country has regarding the HIV/AIDS crisis and how we aren’t shying away from this problem here at the village. We as a team along with our Lord Jesus Christ are tackling the problem head on.
“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” Ephesians: 3:20-21
